Associate Professor, Department of Information and Communication Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Nagoya University.From Ehime Prefecture.Received Ph.D. in Policy and Media from Keio University in 2010.After serving as a visiting researcher at Carnegie Mellon University in 2012, holding positions as a lecturer and associate professor at Keio University's Graduate School of Media and Governance, among others, I currently hold my present position. My research interest lies at the intersection of systems, networks, and human-computer interaction. Engaged in research and development related to smart cities utilizing IoT and machine learning analysis techniques in joint Japan-Europe projects, the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology's Social Big Data Project, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications' G-Space Project, and the Cabinet Office's SIP2 Smart City Platform Project. Recipient of the IBM Ph.D. Fellowship Award in 2009, the Information Processing Society of Japan's Yamashita Memorial Research Award in 2013 and 2019, and the 2021 IPSJ/IEEE Computer Society Young Computer Researcher Award.

Professor of Information Science Department, Faculty of Science, Toho University. Originally from Chiba Prefecture. Received a Doctorate in Engineering from the University of Tsukuba in 2004. Previously worked as a researcher at SECOM Co., Ltd., and as a researcher and assistant professor at the University of Tsukuba before joining Toho University as a lecturer. Engaged in research on user-friendly security focusing on human factors and practical application research on high-functioning encryption. Led initiatives such as the User-Friendly Security Workshop (UWS) and served as the editor-in-chief for the Information Processing Society of Japan's journal 'User-Friendly Security.' Recognized with the Yamashita Memorial Research Award from the Information Processing Society of Japan in 2014.

Established MieKuru Corporation, a joint venture with Shochiku Corporation, serving as the Vice President Director in 2018. Opened the Daikanyama Metaverse Studio in January 2022, engaging in content production using virtual production methods. Also holds positions as the Chairman of Pax Earth, a specific non-profit organization working on rural development in Nepal, and the Secretary-General of Athlete Society, a general incorporated association aiming for athlete-driven social contributions.

Pursued doctoral studies at Mines ParisTech's Center for Robotics from 2007 and worked as a researcher at the French National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automation (Inria). Completed doctoral studies in 2011. Served as the Software Defined Media (SDM) Consortium Chair from 2014. From 2014 to 2022, a board member of the WIDE Project. Engages in research on network communication for autonomous driving and internet audiovisual technologies.
